8 Kirkland Products That No Longer Feel Like a Costco Bargain

Smoked Salmon Is No Longer a “Hidden Deal”

Kirkland smoked salmon has quietly crossed into premium territory, climbing from $19.99 to $23.99. That puts it much closer to gourmet food store pricing.

Smoked salmon is often treated as a luxury protein, but many shoppers built it into weekly meals because Costco made it feel affordable. With prices rising, it may make sense to:

  • Reserve it for special occasions
  • Compare prices at fish markets
  • Look for frozen alternatives with better unit pricing

When high-protein foods increase in price, it’s especially important to balance nutrition with long-term financial planning.

Gram crackers are another one that has reduced the amount of crackers in the box. The crackers are at least 1/3 smaller and the price has increased!
I would really like to know how much it has gone up?
Only guessing without knowing what they used to be here, what size they were

the membership price is totally ridiculous. the tropicana orange juice is about the same price, but it’s 3 bottles and a smaller size container. I enjoy the grassfed burgers, that is very overpriced. I stopped buying the chicken parts, they are now giving us scraps instead of whole parts.

We have shopped less at Costco because of increased prices and large quantities because we can’t store it or use it fast enough and member fee keeps going up.
