Delaware

Delaware already sent a “relief rebate” payment of $300 to all the taxpayers who already filed their 2020 state tax returns. The one-time payments were mainly possible because of a budget surplus. Couples who filed jointly got $300 each.

Payments were then distributed to all eligible Delaware residents back in May. Also, there was a second online application period open, from November 1, until December 15, 2022.

Applicants must write down their Social Security number, active Delaware driver’s license issued before December last year, and a valid Delaware residential mailing address. Then, payments will be automatically sent out to all the qualifying applicants after the application period ended and everybody was reviewed.

The Colorado payments that you mentioned are not government stimulus payments. They are Tabor refunds, ie a government refund of overpayments that taxpayers had made. The voters in Colorado had passed a law several years ago that the state was not allowed to keep surpluses.
