This is one of the easiest traps you can fall into. With all this time on your hands, what’s more fun than hitting up your local flea market or even spending a full weekend wandering around and looking for garage sales?

I can also agree with the fact that bargain hunting is probably one of the most exciting things you could do in retirement, but for some, it might become an addiction. And like any other thing done in excess, it will cost you. If you are constantly buying things you don’t need and never use, then you might want to find another hobby.
