2. Babysitter or nanny

Another option for those with experience with children is babysitting or simply being a nanny. It’s not the easiest job, but it certainly isn’t impossible.

As summer approaches and children go on summer vacation while parents go to work and have no one to leave their little ones with, there is a high demand for babysitters or nannies.

In terms of salary, a nanny earns at least the minimum wage per hour. Based on my analysis, I have concluded that the hourly rate is typically around $25 in most cases.

If I’ve piqued your curiosity, you can try to get a babysitting job through apps like Care, Bambino, Urban Sitter, and Sitter City. Good luck!

If you love children and want to find a retirement side gig, as a babysitter definitely would be fun!
