6 US States to Live a Long Life

New York

With an average life expectancy after 65 coming in at 20.3 years, New York has a lot to offer to the people who choose to live here after retirement. This is made up of the average between the ones among women (21.6) and the ones among men (18.8 years). A lot of it is both due to people finding solace here in the quaint rural areas and also due to how well the hospital system is in this state.

Not only does the Empire State have some of the best hospitals in the country, but a lot of them are located in the heart of the state, in New York City, which has some of the nation’s best hospitals when it comes to issues with ear, nose, and throat (Sloan Kettering Cancer Center), bone and orthopedic problems (Hospital for Special Surgery), and even when we look at geriatrics (Mount Sinai).

If hospitals aren’t your thing, remember that you don’t have to live in the hustle and bustle of New York; the rest of the state is just as beautiful but much less crowded. The various religious communities in the area are close-knit, and you would have easy access to one of the area’s largest airports if you ever felt like traveling!

MA, NY, NJ, CT, MN, and HI are some of the highest taxed states in the country, and all except HI are cold weather states, also you need a high income to live in all of the listed states, but I do know from living in MN that the hospitals are better in northern states than southern states on the fact more people live in those states but living in SC is great weather is great it’s cheaper you can own a home for under 100k and you can live on a 2k social security check in SC you would be hard pressed to do that in any of the states mentioned in this article.

LOL; all blue states begging people to come back or stay. You can keep your sanctuary policies and corruption…hard pass.
