2. Boston, Massachusetts

People may believe that this city will always be hostile because of the terrible history of racial relations in this city. In this crowded metropolis, things have improved, yet people are still not welcoming. Now, if you’re a visitor, you should anticipate that residents will be hurrying around, heads down, always on their phones, and much too busy to be kind or make new acquaintances.

3. Chicago, Illinois

If you’ve ever been to Chicago, then you must know if the surveys are accurate or not! However, the local media claims that Chicago has a long history of being an unpleasant city. In a 1985 editorial in the Chicago Tribune, rudeness was described as ” impulsive, chronic, and utterly omnipresent.”

The tale doesn’t end there, though, as a video of one of the servers at the well-known Ed Debevic’s Diner acting sarcastic toward customers in 2015 went viral. The diner was notorious for its unfriendly employees. The restaurant is still open, which is amusing!
