The Peach state is one that has been loved as a retirement destination for a long time, and it is not surprising that this has been a lot of retirees’ choice. With an annual average cumulated cost of $42,250, it’s a little bit more affordable than the previous entry, yet loved by all the people who have to live within a budget.

This cost also includes the annual housing expenses, which come to around $7,377, which is not the lowest number on our list, but it is also not the worst. Other things like transportation costs ($3,326) and utilities ($3,424) are not going to break the bank, so they even out the balance with the housing costs!
