Oklahoma takes the fourth spot on our list, but they are actually tied for annual cost with number three (more on that state and why it comes first on the next page). Yet, a lot of retirees who are on a budget have made the State of Oklahoma their home, be it that they have returned home from other parts of the country or because they have been attracted to the opportunity to not worry about money.

While housing comes up to around $7,500, utilities are quite low ($3,598), and healthcare has come up to around $6,301, which is pretty good for your wallet if you ask us!
