Once you finally retire, you won’t have to spend money on work-related attire. And you won’t have to keep up with fashion trends unless you’ll want to. Not only will your wardrobe become more modest, but you’ll notice some differences in your bank account too.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics data, retired households spend about $821 yearly on clothing and related services, such as alterations and dry cleaning, while working households spent an average of $1,434 yearly.
If you do the math, you’ll realize that the numbers are bad.
