In certain locations, the supermarket is opening up one hour early, so it can accommodate older customers and others whose health systems are immunocompromised. To have a better understanding of whether this option is still available in the area you live in, the best thing to do is to contact your local store.

Guests have the option to shop online, have their groceries delivered, or even head to the store to pick them up. According to Allison McGee, corporate affairs manager for Kroger Mid-Atlantic, “we are very happy to offer these shopping windows to our senior and at-risk customers, in order to help alleviate their worries about shopping during our regular hours at this time”.
