Sales job

Retirees who are eager to get out of the house and socialize with their customers might be extremely satisfied in a sales position. More than 3% of men and women are eager to find new jobs at 62 or older, most of them as retail salespeople.

However, the other 2% of them would rather work as supervisors of retail sales workers. The average pay is $24,340 on a yearly basis, but part-time schedules are also widely available and fairly common.

Men would rather get hired as wholesale and manufacturing sales representatives, as they get paid much better, at $61,660 a year, and that’s mostly due to the fact that those who sell technical and scientific products earn more. Also, there are other common sales occupations, such as cashiers and even product promoters.
