Tampa, Florida
We cannot start our suggestions without mentioning the one most sought-after Florida town that people would love to relocate to, which is Tampa. While a lot of people are coming here because of the city’s proximity to Disney World, there is much more to it than some of those who are Disney enthusiasts make it seem (though it is a great perk to be so close to the amusement park as well).
It is an amazing city if you are looking for the amazing beaches of Tampa Bay, which are famous for their laid-back attitude to life and for their proximity to the Gulf of Mexico. There is also another, less known, amusement park that locals love, which is African-themed, closer than Disney, and a great location if you happen to have grandchildren.
What’s more, the bustling city hosts a wide variety of cultures (the most predominant being the Hispanic one). It is a great metropolitan area of Florida that also boasts a median rent of around $1,110, making it extremely affordable for retirees. And a lot of them are raving about the town if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly place that still has all the advantages that come with a big city!
Myles VanDuzer is it really $$$$$? curious we are close to it prob. less than an hour. we are in the hood, but great neighbors.
Where in Florida? I can’t find a listing?
They are a bunch of liars. Ron DeSantis is a great governor and he loves America.
If you don;t like Florida and what it offers, move away, I’m sure Chicago, LA, NYC, SF, Boston, Philly, anyplace in New Jersey, Delaware, Asheville, even Denver, will welcome you with open arms and be happy to take your income.
Chris – If you think FL is not welcoming to gays, you haven’t been to Key West – it’s a haven for the LGBT + community.
I love FL & Gov DeSantis.
