1. Hawaii

If you want to grow old in a beautiful paradise, Hawaii is a great choice. The weather is mild all year round; the surroundings are incredible, with all the beaches and forests; and yes, let’s not forget about all the outdoor activities that you can do.

The “happy score” of Hawaii is 69.58, which is the highest on the list, and the average lifespan of the people who live in this state is the highest in the US, at 81.48 years.

Besides the good weather and the natural wonders, Hawaii is also a place that offers you a good quality of life and stability, two things that we are sure any senior wants.

Hawaii has a top-notch healthcare system, complete with a variety of cutting-edge facilities and services devoted to caring for the elderly. Numerous prestigious hospitals and medical facilities are located in the state, including Maui Memorial Medical Center and the well-known Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu.

More than that, social security is not taxed in Hawaii. This is great for seniors because it can help any retiree boost their income. So, if you want to live in the happiest US states, you need to choose Hawaii.
