7. Yorba Linda

Next on our list of the safest cities in California is Yorba Linda. Located in Orange County and with a population of about 67,000, this place has a violent crime rate of 8.90 per 1,000 people.

Yorba Linda is known for being the birthplace of President Richard Nixon and has several museums and historic sites. A black-gold golf club, an award-winning public library, and an Equestrian Center can also be found in Yorba Linda.
