We already know that Florida is one of the best retirement states. But why exactly? Well, it’s considered to be a haven for retirees because it’s tax-friendly and offers a warm climate year-round.
It’s also home to some of the most outstanding retirement communities in our country. But if you’re trying to choose the best CITY for retirement in this state, Tampa is the best retirement choice.
Located on The Sunshine State’s Gulf Coast, Tampa is a dream for seniors who enjoy the water. The average rent here is about $700 cheaper than in Miami. And the cost of monthly utilities is roughly $40 less than in Jacksonville.
In fact, Tampa stands out as one of the top cities in the US where your retirement nest egg stretches the furthest because of its affordable cost of living.
What are the seven states?
Took so long to search through all the screen advertisements, I gave up after #5.
I noticed that each meal and monthly utilities are way under stated. Utilities include gas electric, water coming into home, water coming out, (sewerage), water drainage from rain, sewerage pipe repair fund. Trash can rental, trash pickup. On natural gas usage if you use below yearly average there is a 45$ payment. If you just have a gas meter there is a 30$ monthly meter charge. I don’t know how you show such a low amount for utilities? In Indiana you must pay 37 cents per gallon of gas for road maintenance and government vehicles and gas usage.
You need to bring your information up to date.
And a meal average is 17 dollars, a cup of coffee is 4 dollars. In Ky withdrawal from your 401 is 6 cents tax for every dollar.
You have to click on each page number and you’ll be taken to the next. It’s not a huge headline, but the names are there. You read, click on the next number and so on.
Indiana does NOT tax SS benefits and neither does the Federal government IF that is your ONLY source of income. If you are employed in the state of Indiana, then you will be taxed on your employment income by both state and Federal tax.
What is the score for retiring in Georgia and Tennessee
It’s the same in Illinois. We are taxed to death.
Was Joe Biden the worst U.S. President in American History? Who leaves their home without a beg over their head who voted for Biden?
Mississippi does not tax retirement income… they are not on the list!
