The earliest you can file your 2022 income tax return is late January, but even though it won’t be due until April 18, 2023, there are a few things you can do right away to make it easier when the time comes to fill out your 1040 form. The year’s end is a perfect time to assess your tax situation and make any necessary changes to minimize your tax liability and increase your tax refund.

Reviewing your tax situation is essential because a little effort now could lead to big savings later on. To prepare for the forthcoming tax season, read on for year-end tax advice.
