Where? Anguilla

Average Life Expectancy: 81.5 years
Official Language: English

Anguilla is a self-governing British Territory in the Eastern Caribbean where you’ll only find 13,572 people. And the people you do find are, on the whole, living long and healthy lives.

Maybe they live longer lives than the rest of us because of their easy access to the sea and long stretches of white-sand beaches.

Or perhaps it’s because of the island’s laid-back vibe and abundance of all that fresh, healthy, and yummy seafood. One thing’s for sure, though: It’s not due to healthcare, which individuals have to pay for out of pocket.
