In June, the state’s legislature finally approved sending a tax rebate to every single taxpayer. Taxpayers who earned less than $100,000 per year were bound to get $300, and those who made more than $100,000 per year were bound to get $100.
Dependents are also eligible for the rebate. Taxpayers who successfully filed their 2021 state income tax returns by the end of August 2022 were bound to get their returns in September, and those who requested paper checks should have gotten them by November.
Taxpayers who will file for their returns in the time period of July 31 and December 31 will get their check up to 12 weeks, or a straight deposit up to 10 weeks after their return is validated by the tax department.
Why isn’t Arkansas getting stimulas checks in 2023?
The Colorado payments that you mentioned are not government stimulus payments. They are Tabor refunds, ie a government refund of overpayments that taxpayers had made. The voters in Colorado had passed a law several years ago that the state was not allowed to keep surpluses.
