Manage your holiday expenses

Before deciding on the best holiday game plan, you should reconsider your financial position, and ask yourself if you’re behind on any payments. You might expect an increase/decrease in income or even a holiday bonus.

If so, these factors need to be taken into consideration before setting up your own budget. Try to prioritize things that might need to be paid for as fast as possible, and then remain with one or two things that could wait until after the holidays.

Another thing you need to remember is whether or not your retirement savings and other types of investments are on track with your personal goals. If you have doubts, it could be a good idea to speak to a financial professional.
