Ask for a raise

Don’t undervalue your efforts at work. If you have been working for a company for more than a year, and you still haven’t received a raise, you should do something about it.

During the discussion, make sure you present all of your accomplishments and skills that you’ve learned recently. Also, don’t forget to mention any of those tasks that you have covered, even if it wasn’t in your job description.

Many people are afraid of doing that, but in reality, the worst thing that could happen is they say no. However, the best thing is that you would get an extra $500 a month, so what are you waiting for?

Work overtime

You will never know if your employer actually needs help with the extra workload! In fact, you might have had a great chance of earning more money all this time, right under your nose!

If getting a raise is not possible for now, then maybe working overtime is! Overtime is considered to be the amount of time you usually work, and a half, which means that you would get the usual rate, plus 50 percent.
