Honestly now, sentimental value is just as important for many of us. So yes, you should consider storing them in a safe deposit box, too. When I say sentimental value, I’m talking about things such as diaries from childhood, letters from friends or first loves, or even an unpublished memoir.

Yes, they should all benefit from the protection that a safe deposit box can offer. You could scan these personal papers as a backup, even if nothing can compare to the wonder of holding in your own hands’ such meaningful memories from the past. Plus, experts would actually advise you to use a safe deposit box for irreplaceable documents.
