9 States to Live on Your Social Security Check Alone

Nobody wants to go into retirement and solely rely on Social Security, but unfortunately for a lot of Americans, this is the situation. Moving to a low-cost state can be a big benefit for people who can no longer work to generate an additional source of income, especially if they currently reside in a high-cost area like New York or California.

Even though it doesn’t sound possible, we did our research to identify the best states for survival only on a Social Security check. Remember that there is no particular order in which these states are listed. Are you ready to start?
