2. Danville

Danville comes next on our list of the safest cities in California. A suburb of Oakland with a population of about 44,00, this city has a violent and property crime rate of 6.72 per 1,000 people. If you want to enjoy a suburban environment, you should consider Danville. Here, you can take your dog to the Canine Corral in the dog park or ride your bike on the Diablo Road Trail. Sycamore Valley Park offers a reflection pond, a fountain, playgrounds for children, and an area for recreational activities like jogging and other sports.
