It seems that close to 400,000 Americans want to move to another state the second they retire. Moreover, most retirees do this because they want to relocate to more affordable locations, while others just want to have that comfortable lifestyle they’ve always dreamed of, where the weather is nice, there are plenty of outdoor activities, and the views are stunning. In each case, there are a ton of things that need to be taken into consideration before making such a life-changing decision.

Plenty of research organizations tried to approach the topic using specific criteria, which included affordability, good or bad quality of life, and access to health care and senior services. Let’s see which states are the most recommended to retire to!
