Retirement Income Coming In? These 7 Reliable States WON’T Tax You

State With No Retirement Income: Wyoming

  • Percent of 65 and older population: 12.9%
  • Income Tax Range: None
  • Social Security: None
  • Inheritance and Estate Taxes: None
  • Median rent per month: $1,050
  • Utilities: $121
  • Meal at average restaurant: $10

Wyoming is very taxpayer-friendly for your retirement income: no taxes on payments from 401(k) plans, IRAs, or pensions. Why? The Cowboy State doesn’t have an income tax, of course!

Even though Cheyenne, Wyoming’s capital, has a slightly larger population of older adults, Casper may be a more suitable place to retire because utilities’ median monthly rent and cost are lower.

In fact, a survey found that Casper is one of the best places to retire if you’re living on a fixed retirement income. You might also want to consider retiring to this mountain town to maintain an active lifestyle.

If you just plan to visit, Casper offers plenty of outdoor recreation, including fishing, boating, hiking, skiing, etc. It even has a thriving arts and culture scene. So be sure to bring your camera to capture the moments!

You have to click on each page number and you’ll be taken to the next. It’s not a huge headline, but the names are there. You read, click on the next number and so on.

Indiana does NOT tax SS benefits and neither does the Federal government IF that is your ONLY source of income. If you are employed in the state of Indiana, then you will be taxed on your employment income by both state and Federal tax.

The EPA didn’t destroy anything. “Fair Market” conditions is what did US Steel in. We cannot compete with the Chinese steel on the open market. When you don’t give a crap about your employee’s lives and safety, you can have much lower overhead. You people who voted for the “businessmen” to run our democracy, are about to find out EXACTLY how little we all mean to a bunch of greedy f*cks like Musk, Bezos, etc. CONGRATS!
