10. Senior citizen discounts at restaurants

Discounts at restaurants often change, so you should keep an eye on their websites before going anywhere. For instance, we will give you a few restaurants that are up to date with discounts:

Bonefish Grill has a 10% discount for AARP members.

A & W All American Food has a senior citizen discount available for seniors 55+.

Cici’s Pizza has a 10% senior citizen discount for seniors 60+ in Florida.

McDonald’s has a senior citizen discount on coffee for seniors 55+. (We all know Mc Donald’s has very good coffee, so you might want to drop by!)

There are a lot of programs and benefits for senior Floridians. For those in need of heating or cooling assistance, there is an emergency home energy assistance program for seniors.

Also, when you are in need of information about nutrition, the state offers a lot of nutrition programs at almost every senior citizen center. Florida cares about us! And that’s amazing.

Are you from Florida? Do you know of other great benefits we didn’t mention?

We are from Michigan. We are in good health. We are both in our middle 80’s.

We are in our late 60s and concerned about the healthcare in Florida. We have not heard good things about it, and I’m disabled. We plan to come back to Philadelphia every 2 mo for care. Sad to have that reputation with an older population. Makes no sense. Can you not attract good Drs? The only hospital I heard that is ok is Moffit for cancer.

My daughter in law keeps telling me to move to Florida and she will help take care of me. I am just about 69 years old and I live in Delaware and I can not stand the cold weather. Every year I have trouble dealing with the cold more and more. I am interested in moving to the west coast part of Florida somewhere close to Tampa.

RIGHT NOW, FLORIDA, AND TEXAS, ARE ABOUT THE ONLY PATRIOTIC STATES TO LIVE IN. AND….FLORIDA WINS OUT WITH THE BETTER OVERALL WEATHER , RTHER THAN TEXAS, (TOO HOT), AND IN SOME PLACES EVEN COLD. SO….WELCOME TO FLORIDA, THE MORE THE MERRIER. AND….THE MORE POLITICAL CLOUT WE WILL HAVE.
