The impact inflation has on your retirement savings

Out of all the things mentioned above, inflation could be the first thing on many people’s minds. Only in the past year have prices drastically increased like never before, which means that your retirement plans might not go as far as they would otherwise.

Retirees are forced to withdraw from their retirement accounts only to afford minimal living expenses. Also, those who want to retire in the next couple of years might have to become a bit more careful when it comes to spending.

But there is good news: younger workers should know that things will get better. Over the course of a lifetime career, you will see that high inflation years like 2022 or 2023 will certainly be balanced out by better years, such as 2015, when the average annual inflation was close to zero.
