Chocolate-Covered Almonds Had One of the Biggest Jumps
Few Kirkland price increases feel as dramatic as chocolate-covered almonds. In some regions, prices reportedly jumped from $12.99 to $18.99, with even higher increases seen in Canada.
This snack used to feel like an unbeatable bulk deal. Now, it’s closer to specialty-store pricing — a tough sell for shoppers managing discretionary spending.
If snacks are a major line item in your household expenses, it may be time to:
- Compare prices at Aldi or Trader Joe’s
- Watch for sales at traditional grocery stores
- Use budgeting apps to track snack spending creep
CostCo has priced themselves right out of my pocketbook!!
They have raised their membership fees Again!
I read recently that something like 69% of their earnings come from membership fees!!!
THe kirkland roll of toilet paper shrunk and the price went up. Same with the kirkland paper towel.
Gram crackers are another one that has reduced the amount of crackers in the box. The crackers are at least 1/3 smaller and the price has increased!
I would really like to know how much it has gone up?
Only guessing without knowing what they used to be here, what size they were
the membership price is totally ridiculous. the tropicana orange juice is about the same price, but it’s 3 bottles and a smaller size container. I enjoy the grassfed burgers, that is very overpriced. I stopped buying the chicken parts, they are now giving us scraps instead of whole parts.
We have shopped less at Costco because of increased prices and large quantities because we can’t store it or use it fast enough and member fee keeps going up.
