Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Payment Schedule for Late 2025

SSI recipients typically receive payments on the first day of each month. However, when the first falls on a weekend or federal holiday, payments are sent early.

  • December 2025 and January 2026 SSI Payments
  • Monday, December 1, 2025 – SSI payment for December 2025
  • Wednesday, December 31, 2025 – SSI payment for January 2026

Because January 1 is New Year’s Day, a federal holiday, the SSA issues January’s SSI payment one day early, resulting in two SSI checks arriving in December for many recipients.

The SSA advises beneficiaries to wait three additional mailing days before contacting the agency if a payment does not arrive on time. Nearly 99% of payments are delivered electronically, making delays relatively rare.

This article is way too lengthy for most of us to grasp meaning of. Why confuse us? Be more simple.
