If you apply for a lot of credit cards at the same time, it will hurt your score?

This one is very interesting because the whole idea of multiple card applications that won’t have an impact on your score is rooted in some kind of truth, but it’s a complete myth.

Every time you apply for a new credit card, such a hard inquiry might affect your score by a couple of points, maybe even more if you apply for too many at the same time. The myth was probably initiated by the fact that multiple applications for some types of loans are seen by credit scoring agencies as one inquiry.
