3. We Are Competitive

This characteristic trait doesn’t apply to only one generation but to all of them. Baby boomers tend to be more competitive, the reason may lie in their childhood.

When baby boomers were growing up, their parents used to compare them with other children; this could be the reason why their competitive spirit is so powerful. And also, this might have awakened the habit of comparing themselves to others.

In the baby boomer period, the United States was experiencing rapid economic growth and strong technological development, which may have led to them being so competitive. Another reason could be the fact that they were the generation after World War II that emphasized a strong ethic of work.
