Not downsizing

While we can all agree that your home should be the place you feel best, this doesn’t mean that it should compare to a palace! The more you age, you need to consider downsizing that castle, otherwise, it will start draining your retirement funds.

While it’s completely understandable that you want room for the kids and grandkids, do you really want to spend money on cleaning and maintenance of those rooms? You can easily find something smaller and just as nice, that would offer you a maintenance-free living and give you the chance to save the money for something else.
