Nurse
There are many part-time opportunities for nurses. If being a nurse was your career path, you can work a few days a week at your old job or pick up some extra shifts as needed. Home health nursing can also be a great choice. Especially if you’re already a registered nurse.
Jobs taking care of the elderly, especially home health aids, are plentiful. Although the work can sometimes be emotionally taxing, it can also be gratifying to help someone in so much need. You’ll even learn a lot by enjoying the company of these people.
Nurse practitioners can perform physical exams, prescribe medications, order medical tests, and diagnose health problems. They generally work in physicians’ offices or hospitals.
Most nurse practitioners have a master’s degree, although some earn a doctor of nursing practice or PhD. These advanced-practice registered nurses can command a high average salary of $54.78 per hour.

How do I become a patient advocate?
I feel I am very qualified for this type of position, however, I live 40 minutes from the medical center area in Houston. I do not want to have to travel throughout Houston to be able to be a Patient Advocate though. I am very open to jobs located within a 10-20 minute drive from zip of 77382.

The Fed haven’t changed the threshold before they tax your SS benefits since 1985!
It’s ridiculous to tax your SS Benefits because you need to work to make ends meet.
It’s regressive to tax the retired who earn as little as $30 K because they ddin’t accrue the Fat white collar pensions of their former bosses.
I was smart and put away $800 a week for three years before retiring and invested it and has increased too over $300.000.00 to date.
