#1 Grocery Store Greeter or Clerk

Participating at a neighborhood grocery store might earn you additional money and provide an opportunity for conversation if you love mingling with various types of customers. A lot of supermarkets are hiring for positions at the front and the checkout counter, and some of them give discounts to their employees.

When self-checkout is available, part of your work can involve keeping an eye on customers and stepping in when they have a query about a product or transaction.

This might be an easy and accessible job for seniors since it doesn’t involve a lot of physical activity. Also, most likely, you will have the option to choose to work part-time, which means you don’t have to completely change your normal schedule.

This position is usually paid $12 an hour.
