Stay fit and flexible

One of the best ways to keep going is to…that’s right, keep going! Just start a hobby that will get you gently moving, like yoga, golf, darts, bowling, pool, walking football, croquet, Tai Chi, archery, or even Pilates.

The main aim is to strengthen your whole body in an even way, maybe even with a particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness. And don’t worry, as there are tons of senior karate students, judokas, and even fencers!

Help out

Charities will ALWAYS need a helping hand, even if that’s delivering food to homeless people, walking dogs, or even caring for cats at your local animal sanctuary. It can also include donations at a charity shop.

Whatever it is, you will definitely have the chance to meet a whole bunch of new people and actually feel good about doing your bit.
