You can’t deny that some of you have wished to move to a beach town for a long time now. Well, while I can certainly see all the reasons why someone would want that, I think it’s time to assess the downsides of living in a beach town, too.

Because here’s the thing: while white sand beaches, palm trees, and neverending margaritas might sound like a dream, you might bump into air pollution, loneliness, and noise, which is not what you might have expected at all.

Where’s that terrific paradise you’ve dreamed of? Once that honeymoon period is over, you might have to deal with some major downsides, and we’re here to prepare you for that:
