5. Obnoxiously Self-Confident

The generations that came after the baby boomers tend to have less confidence in themselves; because the Internet and social media affect self-confidence in people.

Today, the younger generation, especially girls, has the lowest level of confidence because social media has made them insecure about their bodies and beauty. This is the result of the apps that modify their body, face, and hair, making them something that they are not.

(People used to know you for who you are in real life, not for who you are in some images that do not reflect reality.)

Baby boomers were raised to be self-assured because they lived through turbulent times in history and were forced to take action in their own hands. Additionally, in their time, the civil rights movement and the feminist period took place at a stronger level, which made them more confident in their abilities.
