Saratoga, with a population of about 32,000 people, also makes the list of the safest cities in California. But Saratoga didn’t become one of the safest places in California by accident. The ranking highlights the efforts by the Sheriff’s Office, the city, and residents.

The violent and property crime rate in this city is 7.66 per 1,000 people, which is below the California average. In addition to its distinctive cultural institutions, fine dining, and unique shops, Saratoga is well known for its outstanding schools. People who live in this city can escape Silicon Valley’s hustle and bustle while relishing a high quality of life.
