9. Fine China

In general, the value of fine china depends on the brand, condition, and mostly how old it is. I bet this is another thing that’s sitting in your home unused. All you need to do is set up a listing with some pictures and wait for the buyers to come to you. Online sales are always the best option.

Etsy and eBay are the friends in need. A lot of other vintage items are sold on these websites.

10. Books

If you are like me, then you will mostly fill your house with books. But in the long run, it might be a bad idea. They take up a lot of space, plus there is a chance that most of them you’ll read only once (I have at least twenty like this). Unless we’re talking about books with sentimental value, there is no reason to hold onto them. The Amazon Trade-in Program is a very common place to sell your used books.

How many books are sitting there on your shelves?

One of the key things you need to figure out when you plan your retirement is where you want to live. This might lead to selling your house or at least reducing your costs. Whatever your options are, I hope this article will help you create a list of items you no longer use.
