Did you know that one-fifth of senior Americans live on the rural side of the country? And the vast majority of them suffer and have to put up with serious economic challenges. Since full-time jobs are hard to find these days, many of them are looking for side jobs for seniors.

You probably didn’t know this, but recovery from the 2008 recession has been much slower in rural areas, and the pandemic did nothing but wipe out even more employment opportunities.

Naturally, many residents were left struggling to find new ways to make extra money. If, by any chance, you are one of them, then you must know the issue: most side hustles and opportunities can be found in the city. Also, the vast majority of people who write about ways to make money are mainly focusing on urban areas.

However, this doesn’t mean that rural residents should be left out, right? There are various ways to make money in rural areas; it’s just that no one wants to talk about it. Luckily, Retired in USA decided to make a list with some of the most relevant side jobs for seniors you can find in rural areas, so you can make a living without worrying.
