Well, if you’re currently working remotely, then you probably don’t have to worry about transportation costs. You don’t use vehicles at all, and if you do, it’s only on special occasions.

Besides, there won’t be as many long commutes in all that big-city rush-hour traffic. Pre-pandemic, the average worker spent a minimum of one hour just to get to work (in some cases, even three).

For those who decided to voluntarily sign off on their careers and say goodbye to that nerve-wracking traffic, there’s a ton of peace and serenity waiting for them in retirement. You’ll spend less money on gas, and you’ll also be able to save more on vehicle maintenance, which we all know can get pretty expensive.
