The average spent by US households: $554

Want to slash your drinking bill? Giving it up is obviously the best way to save money. However, if you enjoy having a glass of wine from time to time, consider purchasing alcohol at a warehouse club. You may obtain a lower price, and the money you save can fuel your FIRE effort.

And now for the question: What if I’m not a warehouse club member? Well, some chains, including Sam’s Club, don’t ask for this requirement: You can purchase beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages without a membership.
