6. Read

You sure remember that when you were a little child, your teachers used to tell you that reading is the easiest way to travel to a whole different world and live the life of your favorite characters. All of us grew up knowing that reading can help us become more creative, happier, and even smarter. And yes, we believe that all of these are true!

So why not sit down, grab your favorite book, a delicious cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy some quiet and relaxing time? You’ll notice that your stress will go away, you won’t have a lot of mood swings throughout the day, you’ll be able to be more focused on the things you have to do, and you’ll feel happy and relaxed.

According to experts, only 6 minutes of reading are enough to slow down your heart rate and reduce your stress levels. Besides that, this activity will engage your brain like no other can, which can lead to memory improvements and slow Alzheimer’s progression.

As a young man I wanted to live forever. However at eighty nine I have more aches and pains than I could ever imagine. Mentally I’m still good, but The hip pain is getting worse, and pills don’t help.
