2. Tampa, Florida

Tampa has always attracted retirees due to its affordable property rates. The median monthly housing expense is $1,419 for a mortgaged home and $1,070 for a rented home. This city in western Florida is situated between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Tampa is a city with a lot of high rises and skyscrapers, as well as a beach resort for retirees and visitors. The Port of Tampa features a number of cruise ship terminals, making it simple to go out on the ocean and visit a variety of locations.

The city also hosts the Gasparilla Pirate Festival, which features a fake pirate invasion of Tampa Bay and a series of parades and celebrations.

Florida is no longer an inexpensive place to retire! The insurance for both homes and cars is off the hook here and taxes are also riding. Sales tax on everything is 7.5, property tax as well as infrastructure tax call CDD are high.

I don’t know where you produced this list, but Florida should not be on it. Prices in this state have skyrocketed.
