Tulum, Mexico

If you’re a big fan of Mexico, skip the overcrowded spring break places, like Cancun and Cabo San Lucas, and visit this over-50s travel destination instead. It’s a peaceful, somewhat remote beach town with transparent blue water and lots of activities for older adults.

If you’re a senior who enjoys an active lifestyle, Tulum has it all: Biking, yoga, strolling on the beach, swimming, diving, or simply a spa relaxation.

When looking at your hotel options for this over 50s travel destination, think about staying in one of the bungalow hotels on the beach to get the whole experience of what this place offers.

But if you want to save some cash, we recommend staying in one of the hotels in the town or with villagers by renting an apartment or house.

We hope you enjoyed reading about all these wonderful over-50s travel destinations. Be sure to share your thoughts with us in the comments section.

But don’t go away just yet! Retired In USA has MUCH more to offer its readers. For instance, we highly recommend you check out: 6 of the Best National Parks for Seniors
