Patient Advocate

Don’t have a nursing license? You could become a patient advocate instead. This part-time gig is ideal for those who, besides wanting to make some extra cash, want to help people!

If you don’t have a background in patient care, you may need to attend a few classes and receive a Certified Nursing Assistant certification. But the conditions can differ from one employer to the next.

As a patient advocate, you would work for a hospital or a nonprofit organization. Or you could even work independently.

You’d be responsible for assisting patients in making sense of their healthcare options and making sure that their concerns are handled by their nurses and doctors.

I would definitely be interested in becoming an Adult Literacy Teacher. Please send me the requirements/qualifications. Thank you.

I was smart and put away $800 a week for three years before retiring and invested it and has increased too over $300.000.00 to date.

The Fed haven’t changed the threshold before they tax your SS benefits since 1985!
It’s ridiculous to tax your SS Benefits because you need to work to make ends meet.
It’s regressive to tax the retired who earn as little as $30 K because they ddin’t accrue the Fat white collar pensions of their former bosses.
