1. P.J. Clarke’s
One of the best New York restaurants for seniors is (drumroll)…P.J. Clarke’s! And if you’re a citizen you know what I’m talking about. Since the first day it opened in 1884 on 3rd Avenue, P.J. Clarke’s has never ceased to amaze its customers.
If you’re ready for a vintage experience, or you are simply nostalgic for old times you will be happy to check out this restaurant. They even kept the jukebox and the nice taxidermied dogs at the bar!
Back in the day, this restaurant was frequented by Jackie Kennedy, Frank Sinatra, and even Nat King Cole, who enjoyed their bacon cheeseburger and called it Cadillac. The legend says the restaurant chef liked this nickname so much that he adopted it. Have you ever tried P.J. Clarke’s?
