One of the oldest individuals to ever live, Hendrikje van Andel-Schipper, happened to be from the Netherlands. When she died at the age of 115, she donated her body to science so that they could study the secret to a longer life.
Van Andel-Schipper and a few others in the country have flourished thanks to a national focus on supporting healthy aging.
One particular community, Groningen, has even gone so far as to create its own Blue Zone by implementing specific standards to promote community and encourage healthy eating habits.
