9. Sarasota, Florida

Sarasota’s low home prices make it simple to live near the beach on a budget.

The typical housing expenditure for homeowners with mortgages is $1,481 per month, while renters pay $1,152 per month. Sarasota is situated on Sarasota Bay, close to the Gulf of Mexico. Sarasota’s beaches, including those on Siesta Key and Lido Key, are famous for their extremely smooth, powdery sand.

While boating or paddleboarding on Sarasota Bay, you could see a dolphin or a manatee, or you might enjoy a tranquil sunset cruise.

Florida is no longer an inexpensive place to retire! The insurance for both homes and cars is off the hook here and taxes are also riding. Sales tax on everything is 7.5, property tax as well as infrastructure tax call CDD are high.

I don’t know where you produced this list, but Florida should not be on it. Prices in this state have skyrocketed.
