Is There Enough Tariff Revenue to Pay Everyone?
This is where optimism meets economic reality.
Budget analysts estimate that current tariffs may generate $200 to $300 billion annually. That sounds impressive — until you consider the cost of sending $2,000 checks.
The math problem:
- Sending $2,000 to every American, including children, would cost roughly $600 billion.
- Limiting payments to adults earning under $100,000 would still cost around $300 billion — nearly the entire annual tariff haul.
The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and economists at Yale’s Budget Lab both warn that the plan would likely increase the federal deficit, which already sits near $1.8 trillion.
And deficits matter — because they affect:
- Interest rates
- Mortgage affordability
- Student loan refinancing options
- And long-term retirement planning

,Here’s an idea..1. Have the govt pay back every cent they’d taken out of SS by reducing or cancelling all funds going to other countries, then raise SS for seniors by 10% per month and veterans by 15% per month. You could also raise the salaries of all active military personnel in battle zones by 10% per month. Then institute a yearly tax amount instead of all the deductibles etc and just make it 5% for everyone earning under $100,000 (not including SS) and 15% for those earning up to $1M per year, 20% over that. Then push for every state to abolish property tax for seniors and veterans, and establish a $500 credit per year for vehicle registration. Reduce property taxes for new homebuyers for first 5 years and give tax credits to single parents earning under $100,000 per year. Give every person who adopts a wild or endangered animal a $500.00 per month care bonus with lifetime care contract.
The only way you will see EXTRA money is to open a LEARING center,,, then you can BILK the government out of MILLIONS of $ DOLLARS…

Its just like everything else you promised listen were struggling and the only time you care is when it comes time vote or go fight in your wars . What a circus if you really care youll find a way to give that 2000 to us especially when you all embezzel tax money that we the people pay on everything tax,tax, tax, about time we all pick up and go live in a different country
What about people who are retired and don’t work?
What about Seniors who make less than $3,000+ a month, and are not a Homeowner, don’t have a car to get the Auto Insurance, or the other benefits that are mentioned in this email. Most of us Seniors struggle and could use another Stimulus Check or 2. President Trump, you want to help America, help those in need; Seniors and the younger people that are living on Welfare and Hud homes. Prices are so high and we all struggle. Please try to set up Stimulus checks again for the middle and low income USA Citizens.

actually my gut feeling tells me its not gonna happen. Its just a carott there dangling in our face to swade us to give them there votes they need want . I for 1 am sick & Tired of them throwin our tax money any where they can steal it but feed us stupid answers why nothing comes our way.
